Last year the very brave and bold Darren Graydon slept on the streets of Exeter as part of YMCA’s Sleep Easy Campaign where he and around 6000 others across the country ‘sleep on the streets so others don’t have to’ to raise money for young people up and down the country who regularly sleep rough.
Last year Darren ‘snuggled’ in the cold with a cardboard ‘mattress’, some warm gear where he survived the night where the temperature dropped significantly and he even felt the biting rain.
So many people go through this as a lifestyle and the YMCA are using this event to raise money to see less young people on the streets.
Darren has set up a JustGiving page so you can sponsor him to raise the money for the YMCA.
